Groove
The elements of the system have been designed with a focus on the linear, graphic purity created by the wooden modules that form the drawers, sides and top, resting on a metal structure that serves as a base. The simple geometry of the bedside tables and dresser set emphasises their practical function: this is mainly the case with the grooves on the front section, which are particularly highlighted by the design and serve as handles without being visible.
Aureo
The Aureo collection, consisting of a drawer chest and bedside table designed by Matteo Nunziati, is inspired by the mathematical/geometric concept of the Golden Ratio: a system on which the proportion of all spaces dedicated to human life is based, with the intent of creating a balanced, yet functional standard. The Aureo bedside table and matching dresser are simple, single-block pieces, partitioned by the handle which divides them into sections. The simple, elegant shapes and details, like the ceramic top and metal handle, are offset by a contemporary design with traditional undertones conveyed by its minimalism and purity.
Antibes
Antibes is a storage system designed for the bedroom area which draws its inspiration from the traditional shapes of dressers and bedside tables and then deviates from them, taking the geometry of the designs to an extreme. The asymmetrical metal base supporting the lacquered wooden structure adds a distinctive original and modern touch. On one side of the element the base runs vertically along the entire front section of the dresser or bedside table until it touches the ground; on the other side, it becomes slender and thin, as though wishing to disappear from view. The bedside table and dresser set in the Antibes collection are available in two different colour combinations: rope lacquered wooden frame and bronze finish metal base, or mud lacquered wooden frame and lead finish metal base.
Voliere
The Feathery Light.
Voliere is a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic 1920s art deco chandelier. With its nod to elegant French art deco lighting design, Voliere’s intricately layered wood veneer elements are arranged in the manner of feathery plumes. Composed by Bodo Sperlein, Voliere showcases the designer’s appreciation of craft and materiality.
This sculptural lamp’s feather-like sections offer a unique perspective when viewed from different angles. Due to the carefully considered structure and materials, the Voliere is lightweight in design and authentically reflects the feather decor.
Voliere brings a touch of 1920s glamour to contemporary interiors.
Candleabro
The majestic light.
Imagine a suspension light that embodies many of LZF’s greatest hits. Designed by Mariví Calvo, Candelabro describes a remarkably representational form that unites the finest collection of wood veneer pendants. En masse, these handsome pendants present a spectacular light show.
The performers include such luminaries as Agatha and Mikado, Raindrop and Totem. Hovering amid the lights are a number of golden birds, each one enjoying a magical world of wonder. Together, these birds and the various pendants stage a thrilling opus in light, a majestic piece that will give the viewer pleasure every time.
