Fusing two seemingly divergent influences, jewellery and furniture design, Nomon creates exquisite home objects that have both high aesthetic value and functionality. Founded twenty years ago in Barcelona, Spain – by Àngels Arrufat and José Maria Reina, a jewellery designer and furniture designer, respectively – their first product was the Jewelry Clock which treated this ubiquitous home furnishing like a piece of jewellery for the home. Stunningly minimalistic, Nomon’s Clocks are functional pieces of fine art.
With the notoriety they gained amongst interior, furniture designers and architects, Nomon expanded their collections to include furniture for commercial spaces, consoles, side tables, storage systems, bookcases, bedside tables, extraordinary attractive decorative objects and textiles.
Much like a jewellery designer, Nomon takes great care to choose the most elegant, rare and sublime materials to create their designs. This includes lustrous metals, exotic woods and beautifully smooth marble.
