About PAD

PAD Furniture as born out of a passion for design.

In the early apprenticeship days on the Nepean Hwy. at Moorabbin as Image Interiors, a lot was learned and many relationships were established, with customers and many other strong local brands.

There was a move to Church St. in 2003 with what was fast becoming, arguably the finest designer strip for furniture and other related businesses in Australia.

From 2003 to 2013 Image Interiors traded in the street well, developing strong relationships with general customers and the designer trade market.

During this time there were approaches from various European brands such as Hulsta the German brand who actually drove the move and rebrand to PAD Furniture at the much larger showroom at 630 Church Street. Sadly the brand who drove the expansion and rebrand went out of business after more than 80 years in 2022. While it was a blow, PAD now had a stable of other European brands such as Bonaldo, Leolux, Varaschin, Fast and others along with a significant Australian made signature PAD designs. This stable combined with solid relationships, along with a natural evolution now sees PAD with a distinctive range of designer furniture, lighting and accessories for indoors and out.

With the shock to Australia and the world with the Covid pandemic, opportunity knocked in a time of adversity, enabling PAD to take the level above for PAD Outdoor! This gave us the chance to showcase indoor on the ground floor, and outdoor on level 1 with access via stairs and lift to what is now a 2000 sq metre indoor / outdoor designer furniture showroom. The range both on display and online is extremely broad offering customers a variety of styles and designs to suit various tastes and budgets.

We always endeavour to place priority on original design coupled with a real, down to earth approach to service. We help with on site appraisals and assist with 2D and 3D proposals when needed, to assist customers in what is a changing tech world making it easier to show our customers what can be done with the offerings from our brand stable, from a single room to an entire house, both indoors and out.
