Vertigo
Inspired by the poster for Alfred Hitchcock’s film of the same name, the Vertigo sideboard is distinguished by the soft wave that characterises the front doors, creating a flow of movement on the surface that softens the rigorous design of the unit. The metal base consists of four seemingly slender feet that give the entire unit a sense of lightness. The Vertigo sideboard is available in three different colour combinations: white lacquered wood outer frame, white lacquered structural polyurethane doors, white metal base or matte bronze lacquered wood outer frame, bronze lacquered structural polyurethane doors, bronze metal base or matte lead lacquered wood outer frame, lead lacquered structural polyurethane doors, lead metal base.
Dorian
The signature feature of the Dorian sideboard is the wide vertical groove highlighted in its doors. The sense of movement thus created by the doors of the Dorian sideboard breaks up the linearity of the wall on which it rests, thus adding visual appeal to the intrinsic function of the sideboard. The doors and frame of this sideboard are made of wood, a material which adds elegance to the overall look, painted in white, bronze or lead finishes. The base is available in the version with two feet for a lighter visual effect or in the version with a plinth for more compact look.
Backdrop
As its name suggests, the main characteristic of the Backdrop sideboard by Alain Gilles is the vertical cut of the doors, which evokes a sense of calm, thanks to its repetition along the entire length. The design of this piece of furniture is well-structured, drawing inspiration from the facades of the modernist buildings: the vertical lines hide the grooves used to open the doors. The frame defining the sideboard is light and goes almost unnoticed, designed to discreetly and elegantly enhance the regularity of the front elements. The Backdrop sideboard is available in Canaletto walnut, or caramel glossy lacquered wood.
