Torii
Inspired by the architecture of traditional Japanese Shinto temples, which give rise to the name “Torii Table stands out on account of the “tectonic” qualities of the base, composed of two slightly inclined metal elements. The elegant design is completed by the rigorous top which is available in wood, ceramic or marble. The formal qualities of the project designed by Marconato & Zappa emerge forcefully in the version which offers a single-material finish both for the top and the decorative inserts of the legs.
Pivot
The Pivot table takes its name from the unusual shape of the base: the central leg of the acts as a pivot for the three legs which extend to the sides. The result is an asymmetric and highly original combination that makes a statement in the room. The legs are made of coal oak or walnut solid wood with metal inserts, while the top is available in marble, solid wood, glass and ceramic, in the two round and round-edged versions.
Dorian
In the table Dorian, flexible qualities and geometric simplicity establish an interplay through contrast. The large top – made of ceramic, marble or wood -rests on a base with a striking sculptural character, consisting of an elegant and surprising elongated cylinder that recalls the shape of a Greek column and which pushes the design towards ancient architectural horizons.
Botón
The name – “button” in Spanish – refers to the metal inserts applied to the base, which catch the attention due to the contrast they make with the table’s overall image. The material of choice for Botón is fused tempered glass, a choice that accentuates the product’s elegance and sophistication and which makes it the perfect piece to place in the centre of a space as the undisputed star of the dining room. The rounded rectangular top of the Botón table has a linear design, while each of the two legs that form the base is made of a pair of glass strips that extend outwards, forming an angle that gives the table stability.
