Air

The effortless light.

The light, fine grain of the Air lamp’s wood veneer is both distinctive and attractive. Air beautifully demonstrates the design potential of wood veneer – its shape exhibits Ray Power’s characteristic penchant for imaginative three-dimensional forms. The Air’s pleats and folds work to create a graceful lamp. Its cantilevered head is poised and radiates an air of serenity.

The cantilevered design of the Air lamp is particularly clever in its table form. Diffusing light both upwards and downwards, the award-winning Air Table is perfect on a desk for focused tasks or as a bedside table companion.

The Air Table is available in the following wood veneers: Natural Cherry, Ivory White, Natural Beech, Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue, Grey, Pale Rose, and Sea Blue.

Walking Fish

The big fish light.

There is nothing fishy about this fish. A wondrous life-size light sculpture, Fish is kin to Isidro Ferrer’s Funny Farm character—The Walking Fish. With its peculiar gait and curious smile, Fish is an affable and agreeable oddity, as well as a big fish in the world of light.

In order to produce Fish, craftsman Manolo Martin utilised a traditional Valencian technique known as ‘vareta’: a process of creating a three-dimensional model by using wood strips treated with water. Inside Fish is a series of shining orbs, these balls of light acting to animate this most genial of fishes.

Eager to make friends of all shapes and sizes, Fish is content anywhere: from a children’s hospital to a corporate lobby and everything in-between.

Thesis

The introverted light.

Spanish architect Ramón Esteve strives to embody clarity, simplicity, consistency, and harmony in design. The Thesis lamp is a reflection of Ramón Esteve’s aesthetic prowess, its minimal form and clean lines free from distraction. Thesis is a quiet light with a smart, introverted personality.

Thesis Floor is a modest lamp that pairs a circular wood veneer shade and base. The shade is held in place using a tripod—each leg of the tripod contains an LED that diffuses light downwards. This thoughtful lamp is particularly suited to quiet spaces, such as a library, private study, or cosy corner.

Thesis Floor has an Ivory White wood veneer shade. The metal base is available in Black, Matt Ivory, Matt Nickel, and Gold finishes.

Smelly Fant

The elephantoid light.

Literally speaking, this elephant in the room is one that cannot be ignored. Standing 163 centimetres tall (that’s over 1 1/2 metres), Elephant is the life-size creation of Isidro Ferrer’s kindred Funny Farm character—Smelly Fant. An inspired light sculpture, Elephant is certain to bring a smile to every face and arouse a feeling of wonderment.

To produce the Elephant light, craftsman Manolo Martin employed the ‘vareta’ technique (used in creating the life-size Fish). The result is a handsome handmade wooden structure: an elephantoid lamp with big ears, a trunk, legs and body. A soft and cheerful light is diffused through Elephant’s natural wood veneer inner lining.

Perfect for a myriad of public and private settings, Elephant is happiest when surrounded by loving and curious individuals.

Lola

The piquant light.

Designed by Ray Power, Lola showcases the designer’s ability to create imaginative three-dimensional forms. Lola is a conical lamp with an intricate geometric pattern. A veritable labour of love, Lola’s shape went through many iterations, drawings and prototypes, before arriving at the finished form. A particularly piquant Spanish name, Lola is very much alive, sensuous, and intriguing. An avant-garde lamp, Lola’s complex woven veneer construction is beautifully accentuated when lit.

The Lola Floor lamp’s intricate shade and geometric base create a light that is both striking and serene.
