Since 1946 the Toulemonde Bochart family has produced decorative textiles and floor coverings, but as the world started to expand in 1950s, so did the family’s horizons. Collaborating and sharing knowledge with textile producers in India, China, and Nepal, Toulemonde Bochart started producing textiles with Asian influences, a completely unique offering at the time.
The company sourced materials from across the globe – New Zealand wool and Tibetian silk.
After collaborating with artists and designers in the 80s, the company found its market space – unique, creative, and colourful floor covering and textiles. Today Toulemonde Bochart has a huge list of designers whom it collaborates with. The companies products can be seen in prestigious places such as Paris’s Opera Garnier, the French Embassy in Bogota, the French Consulate in New York, and the Lanvin Boutiques.
