A double hit of award winning Rolf Benz design has the attention of Australian design aficionados… and is available in Melbourne exclusively at PAD.
First came the Rolf Benz 50 – Inspired by half a century of ROLF BENZ and designed by Norbert Beck, the RB50 is the anniversary sofa and combines all the best that Rolf Benz has to offer. Its innovative relax functions, superbly comfortable sitting, and extraordinary diversity of possible layouts, marks a new high point in the 50 year history of the company.
The Rolf Benz 50 was created as homage to the Addiform range, which dates from 1964, and so it offers plenty of freedom for contemporary interior design. The almost endless variety of sizes and elements makes the sofa suitable for almost any layout in the world.
In keeping with the concept of sustainability, the beech used for the self-built frames comes from local forests, the fabrics specially included in the collection for the Rolf Benz 50 come from a German weaving company, and the breathtaking, almost completely natural leather was created together with the German tannery Heller Leder, who have received awards and certifications on a number of occasions.
Then came the arrival of the Rolf Benz NOVA, with it’s prize winning flexibility at the touch of a button….
Designed by Joachim Nees, the one-seater or two-seater long chair allows effortless adjustment to a countless number of relaxation positions, with powered movement likened to that of a high end luxury vehicle seat.
The NOVA is designed to offer irresistible casual appeal and ingeniously crafted, its uses range from sitting, relaxing and reclining to sleeping.
