A famous german furniture manufacturer that began seventy-five years ago in the founder’s Alois Hüls carpenter workshop, Alois’s son Karl took over the company in 1960, transforming it into the global presence it is today. Through hülsta dedication to research and development, the company has been awarded more than two hundred patents.

In fact, hülsta is responsible for an extremely widely used planning and design furniture principle, the assembly unit principle. The concept was introduced with hülsta’s UNIVERSA living room range.

hülsta produces an extensive range of home furnishings, including; beds, home office furniture, TV units, storage, bathroom furniture, sofas, chairs, shelves, tables, living room combinations, and even children’s furniture. hülsta has been a member of the German Furniture Quality Association since 1974, and their products have featured the low emission “blue angel” seal since 1966. hülsta does not use tropical wood to ensure its carbon footprint remains low and exclusively uses environmentally friendly lacquers and glues.
